I just noticed that in the Condor Trailer post made by Jacob, some bot has registered and is starting to spam comments. Is this a marker that you’re in the big leagues of internet stardom? Is Octonaut number 53 on Alexa?

I used to have a WordPress setup at Notstarmen.Net and even an imageboard/BBS. Nobody used it except spammers. It’s not a sign that you’re hip and cool, it’s a sign that some motherfucker running an unpatched Windows ME or XP box that’s directly connected to the internet and has been taken over by Chinese/Korean botnets. Last time I heard/saw a botnet figure, I was like, “holy shit, that’s a lot of bots,” but in reality I was thinking, “holy shit, that’s a lot of irresponsible people who are retarded with computers.”

It is true that without the masses buying computers for personal needs (HURR PC), the prices of computers would still hover around 3000$ for a piece of crap. What’s also true is that while ISPs are cracking down on BitTorrent traffic because it slows down the network for everybody from a few select individuals, but what about all of those retards that are participating in computer douchebaggery on their network? Nothing.

I don’t know what I’m trying to get at, but I’ll just say this:
1. Patch your system
2. Get behind a router
3. Don’t click on everything that says “click me” (this can be a transition into bitching about people with obsessive compulsive disorder, but I digress)
